Customs Duties and Import Taxes

• Due to recent changes in US trade regulations (effective August 2025), stricter customs enforcement is now in place for all international shipments.
• Delays: I am not responsible for delays due to customs processing.
• Unclaimed Packages: If a package is returned to me because customs fees were unpaid or the package was refused, I can only refund the item cost (minus a restocking fee), but original shipping costs are non-refundable.
• Duties & Taxes: Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. These fees are not included in your shipping cost and will be collected by the carrier prior to delivery.

Our small business takes pride in partnering with the local postal service in the Czech Republic (Czech post) and (zásilkovna), to handle the shipping of your orders promptly. To provide transparency, we’ve outlined estimated shipping costs and delivery times based on your order’s weight in a simple table for your reference. Please note that the shipping price varies according to the weight of your order, and we’d like to inform you that countries within the EU typically receive their orders faster, given our location in the EU.

Upon placing your order, you’ll promptly receive a confirmation email, and within 4-6 business days, your package will be in the capable hands the local postal service for registered mail delivery. We’ll keep you informed with tracking information via email, and all updates will be communicated directly to you. Customs and Import Taxes

Please note that your order may be subject to customs duties or import taxes upon arrival, depending on your country’s regulations. These fees are determined by your local customs authority and are the responsibility of the buyer.

We cover the cost of your purchased items and shipping as shown at checkout. Any additional charges – such as customs duties or import taxes – are not included and must be paid by you, if applicable.

Undeliverable/Lost/Stolen Packages

If you experience any issues with your package, please first contact your local delivery company and follow their instructions. Ensure your shipping address is accurate to prevent delivery problems. The delivery company is responsible for delivering your package, so if you miss a delivery attempt, please reach out to them directly for guidance.

Delays and shipping during the holidays

Occasionally, delays of up to 2 weeks can occur, but don’t worry — your package is in the hands of your local shipping company. You can track your order using the tracking number provided in your confirmation email. Your package is on its way, so please be patient. We appreciate your understanding!

Returns and Refunds

To request a refund, please email info@muwiart.com with:

• Your order number
• A detailed description of the issue
• Any relevant documentation or photos

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of receiving your order. Goods must be returned to the address provided before a refund can be issued.

Refund Processing
Once we receive the returned goods, refunds are processed within 3 working days.
If your item was damaged during shipping, please include the courier’s damage report with your request—refunds may be denied without it.

Your Legal Rights
As a consumer, you are entitled to full remedies under Czech law, including:

• Repair
• Replacement
• Price reduction
• Withdrawal
• Compensation for consequential losses

Any attempt to limit these rights (e.g., “refund limited to 100% of item value”) is legally void and unenforceable.

Defect Claims
Defects must be resolved within 30 calendar days of the complaint, unless both parties agree to a longer period. After 30 days, the defect is considered irremediable under § 19(3) of Act 634/1992 Coll.
