Use of Cookies

Cookies are text files containing a small amount of information that is downloaded to your device when you visit our websites. Cookies are then sent back to the website or another website that recognizes them during each subsequent visit. You can always manage or withdraw your cookie choices via the cookie banner or the “Cookie Settings” link in the page footer.

Cookies perform various tasks, such as allowing efficient navigation between web pages, remembering your preferences, and overall improving the user experience. They can also ensure that online ads are better tailored to you and your interests.

On our websites, we use the following cookies:

Necessary Cookies: Necessary for the operation of the websites, they allow, for example, logging into secure parts of the site and other basic functionalities. This category of cookies cannot be disabled.

Analytical/Statistical Cookies: Allow us to recognize and find out the number of visitors, and track how our visitors use the websites. They help us improve the way the sites work, such as by enabling users to easily find what they are looking for. We launch these files only with your prior consent.

Advertising Cookies:

Used to track preferences and allow displaying ads and other content that best match your interests and online behavior. We launch these files only with your prior consent. Note that third parties (including, for example, providers of external services) may also use cookies and/or access data collected by cookies on the websites. For more information about cookies and their current list, please check individual web browsers, most commonly in the Developer Tools section. Consent can be expressed through a checkbox contained in the so-called cookie bar. You can also subsequently reject cookies in your internet browser settings or set the use of only some.

For more information on managing cookies in individual browsers, please visit the following links:

What are cookies & why we use them?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device to help websites function, remember your preferences, or collect anonymous data.
We use cookies in four categories:

  • Strictly necessary cookies – essential for the shopping cart, checkout, and login.
  • Preference (functional) cookies – remember language, currency, or theme.
  • Performance/analytics cookies – e.g. Google Analytics.
  • Marketing cookies – e.g. Facebook Pixel, Google Ads tracking.

Only non‑necessary cookies are used after you give your explicit consent.

Your consent & the law

Since 1 January 2022, Czech law (E‑Act No. 127/2005 § 89 para 3) requires prior opt‑in consent before setting non‑technical cookies (analytics, marketing, etc.).
Additionally, under GDPR & ePrivacy Directive, consent must be freely given, informed, unambiguous, and as easy to withdraw as it was to give
GDPR.eu.
So our cookie banner always includes both “Accept All” and “Reject All” buttons on the first layer with equal visibility and no pre‑ticking.

Cookie Categories & Retention Periods

Strictly necessary cookies
These are essential for the website to function properly—such as enabling your shopping cart, handling secure checkout or login sessions. Examples include cart_session_id or _csrf_token. They are purged as soon as you close your browser (session cookies).

Preference (functional) cookies
Used to remember your site setting preferences — like language, currency choice, or visual theme. Common names are things like site_lang or currency_pref. We keep these for up to 12 months, so your preferences stay saved for future visits.

Analytics / Performance cookies
Tools like Google Analytics use cookies (e.g. _ga, _gid, _gat) to gather site usage and performance data (totals, page views, user behavior). We only activate these with your explicit consent, and they are retained for up to 25 months. If you request it, we can shorten that period.

Marketing / Tracking cookies
These help us analyze advertising effectiveness and retarget visitors using platforms like Facebook Ads or Google Ads (e.g. _fbpx, _gcl_au, pixel trackers). As with analytics, we only enable them after your opt‑in. These cookies stay for up to 12 months, unless you remove consent sooner.

How to manage your preferences

  • You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via the Cookie Settings link in the website footer.
  • If you delete cookies via browser settings, non‑necessary cookies will stay inactive until you consent again.
  • If you refuse consent, our website will still function using strictly necessary cookies only.
Third‑party cookies

Some cookies are set by third-parties (e.g. Stripe, Google, Facebook) to provide payments, analytics, or ads. Please refer to:

We only enable those trackers after you consent.

Updates to this Cookie Policy

We may update this policy (e.g. if we start using new services). If major changes occur, we’ll inform you via website banner or email. Your prior consent will still apply unless the nature of the tracking changes significantly.

Your Rights Regarding Personal Data Processing

If you believe that we are not handling data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection or, alternatively, you can bring your claims to court.

These terms are effective and valid from 1.8.2025
